It was a case of Halloween horror show for Sporting Khalsa as arguably their worst performance during the tenure of Ian Rowe saw them crash out of the FA Vase to lower league opposition.

Shirebrook were faster, stronger, more determined and, ultimately, more creative as they grafted to a result they thoroughly deserved and sent Khalsa crashing out of their second FA competition in seven days.

Although Khalsa spent the majority of the game on the offensive, a combination of wasting possession, poor finishing and resolute defending by the home side meant they came up blank while Shirebrook converted two of the handful of chances that came their way on the break.
