Result: Highgate 1 Sporting Khalsa 4 (JW Hunt Cup Final)

Jay Holdcroft – goal means he finishes his first full season with Khalsa on 17.

Khalsa brought the curtain down on the 2018-19 season on a high, beating Highgate United 4-1 at the Molineux.

This was, for most of the game, a surprisingly comfortable affair with Gate bearing landing a shot on Khalsa who saved one of their best performances of the season for the big occasion.

Goals by Mensah Kinch, Jay Holdcroft, Mykel Beckley and substitute Alex Perry did the damage, while Lei Brown’s penalty with a few minutes to go provided Highgate with a measure of consolation.

Gate were reduced to ten men half way through the second half with Khalsa cruising at 3-0 when McAuley Manning was sent off for a brutal tackle on Alex Woodhouse.
