Five-star Khalsa served up a thrashing against Boldmere in a performance built around a brace by midfielder Mike Perks.
Perks smashed a rocket on 23 minutes after a flick on from a Johnny Haynes cross to open the scoring, just a few minutes after Boldmere keeper Lewis Feeney had pulled off a great point blank save.
Khalsa kept up the momentum after the break, Mensah Kinch flashing an effort just wide three minutes after the restart. On 62 minutes, Marvin Nisbett fired an effort just wide seconds after Jason Holmes had rolled a shot wide at the other end.
There was to be a late flourish to the game. First on 85 minutes, substitute Rikardo Reid swerved a shot wide of the post before a minute later Perks served up his second screamer of the game with an absolute rocket from range.
Meese followed up with an absolutely blinding finish less than a minute later as Boldmere’s resistance began to crumple. And then deep into injury time, Reid crossed well from the left flank, finding Kyle Brady who controlled and finished to make it 5-0 and complete the misery for the visitors.
