Kyle Brady – equalised for Khalsa after Quorn had taken the lead

Khalsa crashed to another defeat, losing a five-goal clash with Quorn. The visitors took the lead in the 11th minutes, a long ball by Bradley Maslen-Jones found Javia Roberts in space and the winger cut to the byline before crossing back a perfect ball to Sean Williams to blast home from just inside the box.

Khalsa equalised last than ten minutes later, Kyle Brady bundling home from close range. Quorn were close to re-taking the lead soon after, Ryan Evans was put clean through on goal, but a heavy touch allowing Sam Arnold to clear the danger. Arnold then made another good stop to deny Ryan Seal but soon after, the skipper put over a fine corner kick delivery for Daniel Brennan to thunder a header home to put the visitors ahead.

Ten minutes before the break, a cross from the left gave the hosts another leveller, this time a bullet header by Carlo Franco past Quorn keeper Haydn Whitcombe.

The second period saw both sides a little more cautious but it was Quorn who made the breakthrough. The impressive Maslen-Jones did well to win the ball before playing a superb ball for Seal in space, his first effort thundered against the post but he kept his composure to pick up the rebound and fire past Arnold on the hour mark.

Evans perhaps should have made it four, a 1-2 with Williams sent the youngster clean through again but Arnold was again on his toes to clear.

Quorn went down to ten men with 15 minutes to go, Williams dismissed after lashing out after a poor challenge on him.
