18 Lee Chilton

Well-travelled pacy left-sided wideman and attacking midfielder who had two short spells at Sporting Khalsa. In his first he signed for Khalsa in the close season 2016 and made his competitive debut in a 1-1 FA Cup draw against Hanley Town. He eventually made four full appearances, without scoring, before departing for one of his previous clubs, Halesowen Town, in August 2016.

During his second spell – began in the close season 2018 and ended in December 2018 with a return to Evostik Southern Premier League Central Division side Alvechurch – Chilly bagged a total of 18 goals.

Chilly has turned out for – amongst others – Halesowen, Hinckley, Stourbridge, Leamington, Willenhall, Telford, Alvechurch, Stafford Rangers, Black Country Rangers, Lye Town and Cradley Town and was the 2007-08 Midland Alliance Player of the Year.

It is a little-known fact that Chilly appeared as an extra in ropey Star Wars prequel ‘The Phantom Menace’ as a Stormtrooper.
