Luke Shearer

Super-talented frontman and winger who spent two spells at the club during the 2016-17. He signed for Sporting Khalsa in August 2016 having most recently starred for Redditch United and made his debut in a 2-1 defeat away at Heanor Town.

He scored his first goals for the club shortly afterwards, bagging a brace against Brocton in a 6-1 victory with a couple of typically stylish goals. Departed the club to return to Redditch before returning for a second spell before again moving on, this time to Halesowen Town. During the two spells during the 2016-17 season, Shearer scored 14 goals in 31 appearances.

Despite his young age, Luke is a big fan of spurning the usual lads holidays to Ibiza and other party hotspots in favour of coaching holidays. His most recent jaunt was a catch tour with 50 old age pensioners to Exmoor National Park, especially to see the famed water-operated cliff railway. He is planning another excursion to the Scottish Highlands in the new year, where he is looking forward to visiting a world-famous tea-towel factory near Loch Ness.
