Michael Nelson

Mikey joined Sporting Khalsa early on in the 2015-16 campaign having most recently turned out for Bilston Town in the West Midlands Regional League where his performances earned him rave reviews.

The fleet-footed wideman made an immediate impact upon his arrival, a man-of-the-match performance against AFC Wulfrunians turning a game Khalsa were in danger of losing into a victory following his introduction from the bench. He grabbed his first goal for Khalsa in a 4-1 win at Brocton in October 2015. Mikey began the 2016-17 with Khalsa before departing the club after a few months.

Mikey once picked up the wrong luggage at the airport while on holiday in Ibiza but didn’t notice for four days, despite wearing the other person’s clothes for all that time. And the other person being a woman.
