8 Joe Rogers

Beekeeping versatile centre-half and fullback, Joe joined Khalsa from Tipton Town in the summer of 2014 having previously starred for Stafford Rangers and Rocester.

Developing partnerships with a series of centre-halves during the course of the 2014-15 season as a result of injuries, Joe proved himself to be dependable and played a major part in the championship winning run, winning the club’s player of the season award in the process. He then played a major role in the 2015-16 season which saw Khalsa finish in third place and enjoy their spectacular run in the FA Cup, primarily playing as centre-half alongside Tes Robinson.

Joe is from a rural community and amongst his many skills are being able to live outside for days on end and being able to catch and skin squirrels in order to fashion emergency clothing.
