A brilliant double by Danny Ashton earned a depleted Khalsa side three vital points away at second-in-the-table Quorn.
Despite missing a host of players, Khalsa produced a fine result, with man-of-the-match Alex Perry singled out for particular praise.
Luke Shearer was the architect of the first goal, his run and cut back finding the lurking Ashton on 16 minutes, who tucked the chance home at the second attempt after a good save by Ryan Thacker in the Quorn goal.
And it was Shearer who Khalsa had to thank for the second as well, the fleet-footed striker was brought down in the box on 48 minutes, enabling Ashton to fire home his second and wrap up the points.
It was reasonably comfortable win in the end, and indeed, had Ashton had his shooting boots on, he might have gone home with more than two goals.
